For Microsoft System Center 2012 – Orchestrator the issue will be fixed that the “Run Program” Activity fails if it will be started on a system running another Version than Windows Server 2008 R2 (Windows 2008, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, …) . Without this fix you will receive an error with the Published Data “Error Summary Text”:

You can install this Update in two ways:
Way one: Installing the Installing the Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft System Center 2012 – Orchestrator using Microsoft Update Service
You can install the Update Using Microsoft Update. Open Windows Update in Control Panel.
Ensure that “You receive updates: For Windows and other products from Windows Update”.
If you receive updates “For windows only” you must follow the link “Find out more” to enable Microsoft Update.
On the System where Orchestrator is installed you will be notified about 2 important updates
Select the updates for Orchestrator and start the installation:
That’s it! Install the updates on every System where “Orchestrator Runbook Service” or “Orchestrator Runbook Designer” is installed.
Way two: Installing the Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft System Center 2012 – Orchestrator using the cab files
If the System where “Orchestrator Runbook Service” or “Orchestrator Runbook Designer” is installed has no connection to Windows Update Service you can download the cab files from Microsoft Update Catalog: http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=2702112
Transfer the files to the Orchestrator Systems, extract and double click to install the updates:
Check if the update was successful
The file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft System Center 2012\Orchestrator\Extensions\Support\RunProgram\OrchestratorRunProgramService.exe" should have version 7.0.1161.0 after the update.
The file “C:\Windows\OrchestratorRunProgramService.exe” will be updated automatically if you start a new “Run Program” Activity on this computer.
