Jalasoft - Technology Division Founded in 2001, Jalasoft Corporation was created to build complementary software solutions for Enterprise Systems Management applications. These solutions focud on bringing network data, events and alerts to system administrators who use this data to manage their IT infrastructure and the applications they support. Jalasoft's core product, Xian Network Manager was designed to integrate performance and availibility data with Microsoft Systems Center Oprerations Manager. This integration includes device availibility, performance at the device and port level, network event propagation and functionality for network performance reporting. The 2004 release of Network Manager earned the Microsoft .Net Connected logo for Windows Server-Certified Solutions. The same year, Jala-Companies in the software and hardware industries to develop management packs for their products. The following year, Jalasoft released Xian Network Manager 2005 with epanded support including HP ProCurve, F5 Big-Ip, APC UPS devices and the first true solution for cross-platform monitoring between Windows and Unix using Operations Manager. In July 2007, Jalasoft released Xian Network Manager Io. This release introduced several new features including improved availibility monitoring, management policiy templates, and new management packs for VMWare Cirtual center and mySQL. Xian Network manager Io also extended Unix management to IBM AIX, HP Unix and several Unix varieties. Improvements continued with the release of Xian Network Manager Io R2; a customer-driven release that focused on user feature requests and performance improvements. Network Manager R2 saw the addition of Network Topology Mapping, automatic threshold calculation for performance alerts and custom rule sets for supporting any SNMP device. Scalability improved in R2 as well, with users managing as many as 3000 network devices with a single Management Server. Jalasoft also introduced a new product in 2010. Xian Wings, a native client application for mobile devices, makes it possible for system administrators to take Operations manager out of the office and manage their servers from any location with mobile or WiFi access. Wings provides users with easyaccess to system and application states, alerts, performance graphs and other standard information needed for managing server issues. It also integrates with Operations Manager's tasks feature, allowing users to execute system tasks directily from their phone. |
